RE: 3.73 gear
The car that I'm running them in is my daily driver, doesn't see the interstate (spd. lmt. 75, I turn almost 3,000 rpms) much but it does sometimes when I have to drive from work to school. Do you have an automatic or a stick?

RE: 3.73 gear
I've got a stalled (custom built 3000 rpm torque converter) AOD in my car and these gears do just great. I'd go with the 3.90s if I were you. They cost a little more than the 3.73s, but they're perfect for a street/strip car.

RE: 3.73 gear
I've got 96,xxx miles on my hatchback, and I've got 148,xxx miles on the convertible. Both of them have been modded and held up just fine. In your case, with 185,000 I wouldn't spend any more money on bolt ons or motor mods. I'd start saving up for a new tranny and motor. I'd do the tranny first, either get it rebuilt with some performance parts or get a new aftermarket one.
