Anyone running Methanol Injection from Snow Performance and if so what kind of increase in power did you see?

10 PSI of boost from a Procharger and some bumped timing got me about 45ish HP from the snow kit. It seemed to vary from run to run, but that could be other minor factors and the variations were minor. I'm not running any other innercooler and my timing isn't too aggressive.

Hey Samseed....I am from MA but heading up to Bangor, ME early next week for work...

anyway...45 horse is pretty decent for the money.....DO you recommmend..

That's a decent drive from MA to Bangor. I don't envy you! lol

Yeah, I definately recommend the kit. You can get better numbers depending on how aggressive your tune is. I'm only running windshield washer fluid too, which is less than the 50 / 50 mixture.

ok.. newb question.. how does this spray actually work? and whats being sprayed? and into what? im so lost on this concept... but if it is an efficient way for good power, id think about this kit also!

My tuner recommended against it, so I stopped asking. However, I am curious to hear anyone's experiences with injection.

now i dont feel so stupid about not knowing what this was lol.

i saw a kit installed on a cummins today on tv.. (couldnt go to work, bad weather) aaand i still dont really understand it. it looked as if they were actually spraying the water/methynal stuff in the intake manni.. now this goes against what i have learned.

any one know whats going on here?!?

i THINK the idea is that the alcohol (or w/e) evaporates in the intake thus cooling the air going into the engine. I need more info on this!

It seems like people only use it with turbos or blowers...but I would like to know a bit more as well.
