LX 5.0

My cars shell in the photo is wrecked. I kept the car and considering my motor is fresh and my t-5 is alright I really think the most efficient way to get my self another LX is to do a swap from a 4 banger. I live in Boston. I have decent mechanical knowledge. Is anyone living in the area have mechanical knowledge with the right work environment and tools willing to help me do this job? We work something out $$ Looking to potentially do this job in the spring.

do u live in boston or near boston? i live near NH and if ur close enought ill help ya but i loose my lisence in 17 days so after that i wont beable to drive for 60 days[&o]

i know where i am from you can find used engine hoists in the classifieds for like 50 to 75 dollars, id check that if your looking to buy one

I live in the CityI live in the city not out of preference thought. My car is at a friends house in North Reading. I also don't have a licience for probably 55 more days. If I do the swap I looking to do it in the spring.

IMO i wouldnt go thru the trouble with the wrecked 302 tho.. plenty of 351's around for cheap (LOTS OF TRUCKS UP HERE)

I figured if I had the right connection to do the swap considering my motor has 69,000 miles on it I would make out better than if I baught a lx 5.0 in that catagatory... Thanks... I acctually baught a 03 YZ 125 a week ago with my insurence money. A truck might be the way to fo for now. I was really down about wrecking my ride. I needed something to whip!
