ok if a 289(4.6) can make 650 wheels with a FI set up then tell my why a 347 can't make 750 wheels with a FI set up??? yea i might be short on my n/a build but the finish product should be close
A 347 can most definatley make 750rwhp with FI, however they are arguing becuase you said 750rwhp NA

i realize that the higher the boost the less efficient... i'm not a new to cars, i may go turbo once i get that setup, and a custom IC is on the list of things to do...

most likely the motor will be 500-600 whp n/a the FI is just going to make it that much more fun of a car using lower flow rates and a smaller cam that i'll be using according to desktop dyno the motor will be 750 n/a at the crank so 20% loss gives me 600 wheels, and 10 psi should put it to 700 wheels, one psi= 10 hp (theoreticaly) and remember that is lower flow rates than i should actualy get... BUT this is all calulations we'll have to wait untill spring 1008 to see how well my math skills are

my goal may be high but that just a target point, i'll be satsfied with 550-600 at the wheels... but what fun is it if you don't push yourself to make more power? look howmany new edge are out there with KB's pulling 650 at the wheels
hmm not like its a COMPLETELY different motor with a VERY different supercharger. the 5.0 kb is an ancient design and non-ic. the KBs for mod motors are MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the 5.0 version. its about as relevant as saying "look how may 2.0 dsms are making 500 horse w/ garrett turbos, i should be able to make 650 easy w/ a kb"

if you talk to KB with the exception of the IC the 4.6 and the 5.0 KB are very close to the same efficiancy.... well according to kb tech. anyway(just going by the the "pro" said)

When you choose a SC make sure to look at the Flow capacity of the SC at max RPMs to know if it has enough flow to support the HP you look to make. If I remember correctly, under typical weather conditions, it takes ~ 1000 SCFM to make 450 HP.
