Question for those with trickflow top end
 

Do I need a cowl hood or is there enough clearance to run the stocker?

Had Trickflow U/L on my 88 LX ttop with a ram air hood and still didn't completely clear, Hood would shut, but would cause the front corner to be elevated, and rubbed finish off of the intake.

That is a good question, they dont say anything on the kit's site, but i would call trickflow. I have it but i also have a 3" cowl

Sent Trickflow tech an email and they said stock hood will clear just fine.

If I didn't have the 1" spacer, mine wouldn't rub. It just barely rubs now....

Mine fit fine ...... no problem

i have the svo hood and it clears that with just a 1.5' lift
