Default Spped Density to Mass Air ??

I have read the articles for the conversion, couldn't you just get an EEC and harness from an 89-93 machine and swap it out or am I missing something? Does the dash harness have to be sapped also?....

TIA

the harness doesnt, but you need the computer and the mass air flow sensor. the sd unit uses a mass air pressure sensor, very different. its quite simple, its like 4 wires, a maf, and the computer.

I tried doing it with a later harness and the fuel pump didnt turn on which I read is common, so I ended up splicing into the original harness
