I think it is more of a little of everything for preffering the 89. MAF, the pre 89(Minus the cali edition) didn't have, tilt stearing everything after didn't have. No crappy looking pockets on the door panel (Sorry, but they look horrible to me personally). But then it might just be I am leaning in the direction of 89 for other reasons. And the 25th thing helps alot too.

and I prefer 89 too.. for same reasons mentioned above...
what color is that exactly. and dont worry if people rag you for it
mine is purple. not my cup of tea but im painting it white soon because the paint is fading and i have to wax it all the time to keep it looking right... if it were good paint id leave it purple...

This may be a stupid question, but my 90 has a 25th emblem on the dash. I have seen several other of my buddies foxbodies with the same emblem...but I know at least one of them does not have an airbag and is 89 or older.
Now, I know mine is a 90. It has pockets and an airbag. The VIN checks good. I seriously doubt the previous owner glued it on there. Everything else done is rather tasteful so it seems a bit strange that he would then stick such a phony emblem on the dash if the wheel and doorskin would give it away so easily.... Any explainations or did someone get emblem envy?
