There's a guy on another forum I'm on with an 11psi KB on what i think is a mostly stock 5.0 GT and if my memory serves he's got about 295whp and a lot more torque. Here's a vid of his car: KB Vid.

^^^and you think a 70mm turbo can't split a stock block

My neighbor did it with his smurf blue '89 Notch. Didn't split the block and he was pushing 596HP to the rear.

If you read on KB's website they give all the details on the unit. They have developed it and say there is no need for a I/C. If you are really worried about I/C why not just add a Meth kit to it and call it a day...hell just had some N2O to cool things down. A KB is defienetly in my future for my project car, just can't decided if I want the standard for blowzilla...

• Big increase in horsepower and torque - EVERYWHERE - not just at peak rpm.
• INSTANT FULL BOOST / HORSEPOWER & TORQUE at ANY rpm - 2000 up.
• No boost drop off at high rpm
• No "boost lag" as with centrifugal superchargers & turbos.
• Does not depend on engine speed to generate more boost.
• Fat flat torque curve.
• Lower gears not necessary
• Cooler air charge. No intercooler needed
• Looks factory. Mounts on TOP of engine. • Fits under stock hood.
• Whisper Quiet. No embarrassing & annoying gear noise.
• Internally lubricted. No tapping holes in the oil pan. Doesn't use engine oil.
• 60-80 degrees cooler air charge temperature and requires 10-16 less HP to drive than roots style.*
• Available for stock or GT-40 Lower Manifold (specify when ordering)
• Supercharger driven off stock 6 rib belt.
• Manifolds and supercharger all pre-assembled and tested.
• No other engine or transmission changes required. Everything included.
• Available in satin finish or polished
• Easily installed. Kit replaces upper intake manifold.
• Optional bypass system for boost levels over 9 psi.
• Best engineered kit. • Billet aluminum case.
• 50 State legal.

there is no way he only has 295 whp...he does not have that tuned right then...especially if he is running at 11 psi.
