Default satellite radio in 92 mustang lx

hey all, I have xm radio for the car but haven't decided where to mount it, but would like it to be somewhere out of the way and a clean install. Has anyone done this themselves and have examples they can show me or suggestions on where to mount it?
Thanks in advance

Default RE: satellite radio in 92 mustang lx

Are you looking for ways to run the wiring and mount the antenna? Or are you looking for someplace to mount a headunit? As much as I love the headunits due to tehir portability (Roady XT, My-Fi, Sky-FI, etc) I didn't like the way they looked in the mustang. No matter how clean the install was, it always looked out of place. So instead I went on ebay and opaid $50 for a new XM unit that I could directly connect to my existing Sony headunit. That way I could hide everything under the dash and I could change the channels and control everything from my actual stereo headunit.

I know that doesn't help much. I just couldn't find a decent place to innstall one of the portable units.
