No, the si engine is better. Right now he has a D series SOHC engine that comes stock with a whopping 106hp. With the turbo kit and low psi like he said, he'll have a little over 200hp.
The si engine is a B series DOHC with 160hp.

ya i have the same engine in my 90 hatch d16a6 108hp stock hes prob lucky if he gets much over 200 with a t25 and even luckier if he can run a low 13. i run on 15x6.5 tires and a light weight flywheel with header intake and exhaust with a stock cat 15.15 keep in mind the car only weighs 1900 because its a base model civic
