I just got a coupe. It has long tube on it and Im not liking them already. The o2 sensor on the right side is rubbing on my trans. Wearing a slit in the wire.

i love bbk long tubes, the good thing about bbk is that there perfect fit, easily spark plug access.

also longtubs are better for a high horse power engine 350 and up

shorties are good for a stock motor

Step headers, like the Bassani's are the thing to get IMHO.
'Low end' torque will be better......
Bad part, they are expensive....

So I should look into the BBk headers. What about other brands like hooker? Are the BBK's my only real choice? How much more are the Bassani's. Plans way down the road look like a 347 with a KB blower.

Hooker's are good headers too. $400+ bucks.
Bassani's step headers are $600+
i really don't know who all makes full's for your car but I'd stay name brand.
Cheaper stuff just an invite to sort of a rapin' IMHO.......

Equal length shorties will flow upto 450hp sufficiently... but yes i agree l/t's would be ideal for that kinda hp, but shorties are good for stock or mildly modded
