New clutch cable snapped after a month.
anyone have any recommendations as to a good, strong clutch cable? i guess my mechanic tossed in some CRAP that snapped on me yesterday, 30 miles from home. I'm looking to buy a kit with a new quandrant + fire wall adjuster. decent brand to get?

I've always heard that OEM is the only cable that's not just a toy. I tried an Autozone number as just good preventative maintenance. It immediately felt so horrible, that I took it out and stuck the original back in. When it comes time to replace it, I'll shell out $80, or whatever the dealer asks, as I have no time for laying my head on the brake pedal every couple of months, and swapping out aftermarket junk.
