How much should i pay for a 1989 mustang gt. It has no motor or transmission. Thr interior is in poor condition, mostly stained, few rips in the fabric. The body has a few scratches and dings and a broken right tail light.

i wouldnt pay anymore then $200. but thats me. i paid $836 for my white mustang, interior was alright, motor & transmission, it wasnt running and the guy i bought it from took it to an idiot mechanic and the mech. said that the fuel pump was bad, head gasket, and oil pan gasket. the next day after towing it home i went ot crank it up and i noticed the key turned wayyyyyyyy too freely, took the steering column off and noticed somethign was loose, put it back in place nad bent it back and it cranked right up. after driving for a while car would start to run hot, radiator was clogged. and the fuel pump was not bad, it was perfectly fine, the pass valve cover gasket was bad and leaking. and the front oil pan plug the gasket was bad so it made it seem like the oil pan gasket was bad. well changed all that, new radiator, elec fan and the whole 9 runs like a dream, i stole the car. but thats just my story.

$400, sounds like a junkyard car... crappy interior, no motor/trans, and rough body, whats desireable from it? Are you gonna part whats left out on ebay or make it a budget build?

i wouldnt give any more then $400 for that... maybe $500 but that is the absolute most. JMO though.

definately no more then $200, its gonna cost you to tow it. only thing i like about it is its black and a gt. i wish my car was black or any color but white.

Do you know what gears it has? suspention work? Might be a deal at $500, but around were I live, $500 would be a steal for that.

you couldnt get me to pay anything more then 200 for it, suspension doesnt matter i bet that cars been sitting for awhile. dont pay anything more then 2.
