ORIGINAL: WhiteFoxGT
Do you feel confident that what your actually do to the heads will make more HP? Anyone can grind away material, but not everyone can make it work well. Flowbench or not..

RE: Ported E7's
with my ported e7 heads I got 246 rwhp and 300tq.
most of the portwork needs to be in the curve in the intake right where the valve guide is.
thumper heads and a 100 shot will get you into the 10's.

RE: Ported E7's
with a b303 cam and ported heads my friend laid down 280 to the wheels in his 1995 gt
he is gonna make close to 330 wheel after he puts forged internals and a nicer intake but
they are worth it if u can get them done rite if you kno someone who can do heads real well then they are worth it, but if not then forget it

RE: Ported E7's
Depending on your year you might see higher #'s than mine but that was with an intake on an 88gt, paid 600 to get them ported by a proffesional, probably gained 20 rwhp, getting afr's with a dss block in feb. hopefully!!

RE: Ported E7's
I'm going to get a set of Thumper E7s in the spring, they perform better than stock GT40s and they're cheap as hell. Thumper claims a gain of 20-40 rwhp on the heads alone depending on application and other mods. Ported E7s can make good power if they're done right. Thumper E7s are the best on the net - but I know you're not looking at buying some .
