ive got an 89 Lx, im looking at throwing on flowmasters and then installing a kit, ive found kits for duals at about 50 bucks + shipping, if uve got stck cats like mine i kno im putting out mass amounts of hyrocarbons so itll work with the cats and still pass emissions,
also, with the lx's in the late eighties, u can buy the gt switch kit (the headlight switch) and hook the flames up to that since the x's cae sans foglights
i think they'll be nice to have, ill look cool, just dont over due it with 20footers or use them constantly,
build it ur own ould be
all it is is a switch
and spark plugs in the exhaust, but id suggest buying a kit.

What exactly is the spark plug igniting?
Ive heard that the kit makes it so it shoots raw fuel through the motor, and that ignites through the exhaust? Ive also heard that kills your motor...

I've heard of a way that puts injectors in your tailpipes that sprays fuel, so i dont see why you couldnt do it with cats. It seems dangerous to me though but i think it could be cool.

with those kits you actually rev your car up to like 3000rpm and then cut the ignition to your engine off for a few seconds and dump raw fuel in the exhaust and then light the fuel... many think that cutting the ignition and dumping raw fuel in an engine turning 3000rpms will cause fuel to be pushed past the rings into the oil, thus contaminating the oil
