DIY Turbos can make AWSOME power and be comparitively cheap....spend some time here but be warned they don't seem to like off the questions from those who haven't done any research....

I had a homemade turbo kit that I bought all the parts for and had a friend weld up the tubing for me. I sold it to a buddy of mine and here is a video of it on his car. This is a 200+k mile stock shortblock with TFS TW heads and launching off a footbrake.

BTW, that's one of those Master Power T70 turbos people love to hate on. I bought the turbo and I/C on group buys. I bought the waste gate and bov on monthly specials. They were both Tial also, a quality brand. I used all v-band clamps and it has a flex coupling too. It was built off flipped BBK u/e shorty headers. I had just under $2000 in everything.

How do you flip the headers? Do you just flip 'em over and they bolt up? I have the BBK headers already on my car. Do you drill new holes?

Flip them & swap sides...they bolt up, but may need a little modification on the exit end depending on how you are running your piping to the turbo.
