When you bore you increase displacement
Yes you do, by a very small amount, but the purpose of boring is not to increase displacement. See my post above^^.

jd1969 i am sendin the heads to the best guy on the east coast he does half of nhra and half of nascar's heads so he is real good i think that with a nice cam and a good intake which i will do i should see it at hte crank maybe even more
Well then I think you be all set on the heads. With the right cam/intake combo I think you see 400 BHP easy.

and i m sorry to say this after yesterday jd1969 but the reason is i saw a ls1 with a cam rr, intake, catless exhaust, pullies, clutch, and some other minor things with the stock heads make almost 400 whp so i wann try and come close to that

amen to the guys saying you dont bore to gain CI! With a good set of heads and a custom cam w/matching intake 400RWHP would be very attainable with a 351

LOL... Back when I had a 6 speed I made 393 rwhp on a Mustang Dyno. My mods are cam, maf , lid, long tubes, UDP, and of course a tune. Now that I run an auto with a big stall I made 371, but I went nearly 4 tenths quicker so I don't care about the HP loss.
