you can re-use the head bolts up to 91 in mid they went to those toruqe to yeild bolts that must be replaced. would recommend replacing them anyway to be on the safe side

the washers must be used with aluminum heads to prevent galling.
and 1 more vote for head studs, you can re-use them forever.
I will never go back to bolts, the studs are only a little more than bolts, they clamp the head to the block rather than the thread of the bolt pulling the head down.

its fine to reuse the head bolts the new style bolts are only used once but the kind in your mustang (as long as they are stock) are fine to reuse. i checked with ford when i changed my head gaskets last spring no leaks or problems yet
