over heating under boost...need help
i have a 1988 mustang gt and i just put a a9l ecu and mass air on the car a long with a 6psi supercharger and now, my car over heats when i rip through the gears. i changed the head gasket a few years ago and i just changed the water pump about 400 miles ago, anyone have any idea as to what is going on here? the car is fine when i dont "boost" it. i cant figure it out, but when it over heats it blows all the coolant out of the cap and it blows a gallon out of there....im pretty sure the thermostat is working properly because the temp will go up a few degrees and then drop to normal ( this is before it overheats)

It is probably predetination. What is your timing set at? I would start there. Also could be fuel pressure, fuel pump(lack of fuel) did you upgrade the fuel pump with the S/C? Injector size?

You need a bigger radiator. After I raised the compression on mine I had similar problems, I just went to Murrays and got the Police package radiator, its twice as thick as the stock one. $250 w/ a lifetime warranty .
-P.
PS: If you dont have a murrays around Im sure autozone, or whatever can get them also.
