Explorer 5.0
Ok, i had to trade in my 99 transam ws6 for a 00 eddie baur explorer (due to one too many speeding tickets) and this thing has a 5.0 in it, is this the same engine? Like..If i buy anything for my mustang I can also use it on my explorer? vice versa?

I was hella pissed, especially since I paid for all of it, and my parents didnt care about the hit I took. I had to suck that up. It was an even trade...I cried for 3 days....it was a beautiful car...I was contemplating heading out to live on my own...but that wouldn't have been good. and then they probrably would have tossed my 89...and I really want to keep that to turn into a drag car when I get out of college or high school....i hate the police

Your first post said you had to trade in the WS6 for speeding tickets. Do you think a blower on your explorer is going to make the interior quality better? This whole thread makes no sense. Why bother asking if go fast parts will fit your explorer if the whole point your *** landed in an explorer is to slow down.

The exploder has a different cam for starters. The motor is basically the same w/ GT40P heads on your year. I don't know how well the computer would respond to mods.....
Justs start simple like intake/exhaust and gears. Also the blower for the stang will be setup to work in a specific place w/ the accessories, so if the accessories aren't in the same place on the Exploder, you'll have to fab it up (which I wouldn't recommend).
