RE: The best Mass Airflow sensor?

I'm looking for the best mass airflow sensor. Im converting my car over to mass air and Im getting 24 Injectors so I cant use C & L cause I don't have the pre-existing sensor. Ive been hearing alot of these aftermarket sensors are not trustworthy and in the long run can really F S*&^% up on your motor, but Pro-M (or Pro-Flow is it?) is the best and should last the longest.. any suggestions?

There is no real performance advantage to swapping the computer. In fact the A9* computers are actually more developed than the X3Z.
If you want to go with aftermarket, then either C&L or ProM (Pmas) should work well.
You can find the correct MAS (the little black sensor on the MAF tube) in any junk yard, on a variety of vehicles.
I think you want an F1ZF.
Grab the entire maf/mas assembly; it should be less than $20.
Or buy it new.
The problem with the C&L is accuracy, not durability.
Due to the design of the C&L it can read erratically, depending on the setup.
I have run a C&L for 10yrs with no mentionable issues. Many others seem to have good luck with C&L as well.
Pmas is preferred by tuners due to the fact that their meters are available with an airflow sheet. The tuner can then simply enter the flow sheet into the new tune.
C&L does have flow sheets on the web, but they are harder to find.
