Checking Codes on a '94
Can I use the OBD II to check for codes on my 94 cobra? We tried checking and it pulls up an Error message.

Nope...'94-'95 5.0L's are OBD-I....need to use the diagnostic connector behind the passenger side strut tower.

RE: Checking Codes on a '94
It's an OBII connector.....but.....the 5.0 cars were still running OBDI until 96. If you get a code from the OBDII it'll prolly be incorrect, only the V6 cars were OBDII in 94-96. You must pull your codes from the OBDI connector behined the pax side strut tower to get correct info.
