will gt-40 heads it on a 289... i was thinking they would but im not possitive.... i kno its not a 5.0 but i was asking for my friend he was wondering and i didnt wanna tell him it would if they wont... any feedback would be rite

yea, they will fit, 289 and 302 heads are interchangable

what year of explorers were the gt-40s on... not the p's just hte regualr gt-40

the gt40s will have GT stamped above the #1 and #8 spark plug holes, the gt40p's will have GTP stamped there
