+1 for the horsepower difference, I have had both on the same car and the only difference is sound; the X is raspy down low, but sounds nice up top. The H sounds smooth all the way up...

H-Pipe all the way who cares about 2+ hp (myth). Or get more HP and go Straght pipe.

Supposedly, the H can't merge gases as well above 3k rpms, but I don't know how true that really is. Main difference is sound. H is throaty, typical mustang sound. X is a little raspier, but can still sound good w/ the right catback.
