Default Tranny Help

What kind of transmission should i get?

i'm planning on dropping in a 351w bored and stroked to a 408w wtih a 10.1 or higher compression ratio and later supercharging it to well over 600hp. I want a 5 or 6 spd. what do you reccomend?

T-56 if you have to go stick Put id go PA Super Comp 1000+ capable!!

Highly recommend not running that kind of compression if you plan on supercharging it, unless you want to run on race gas all the time.

LOL true maybe some people like paying over 3.00+ a gallon of gas or atleast here thats what we pay.

3.00 for what octane? Summer time it was up into the 3's for regular [&:]

Not real sure never bought any but bout 5 weeks ago when we went to Red River Raceway reg gas was 1.93 a gallon but i do remember seeing a banner saying racing fuel at the track and it was 3 something maybe 3.99 not sure but 3 something!

i'm running 10.1 untill i get my blower, when i get the blower im buying thicker head gaskets to dull it down to like 9.1 or less

t-56 viper u can get a tranny kit on d&d performance... its stronger than the stocl t-56.... just y .02

Sunoco Cam 2 104 unleaded in Virginia is $6.00 a gallon. I don't think you are going to drop the compression 1 point with head gaskets.

+1 I was just posting the same. Thats alot of compression to drop with headgaskets... I will let some "experienced" builders chime in but I dont think thats going to be possible..
