Alright so my buddy and I are doing an engine swap and we have an 88 to put in his 95. What exactly needs to be swapped. I've heard that the water pump spins differenty on the 95. That is as much as I know besides the intake as well...

block swaps directly in... so do the heads

waterpump spins in the same direction.... whoever told you otherwise if a retard

He destroyed the engine, running 147 for miles at a time. We don't want to swap the heads, it would be unecessary wouldn't it since they are both E7's..

like i said... the heads and block are the same... so strip the 88 motor of everything but the block and heads, and swap everything ense from the 95 block over... the only difference between the water pump is the way it interfaces with the belt. but why use an old pump in the first place... put a new one on it.... this is also the PERFECT time to do an H/C/I
