wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!
so i was with my girl friend tonight and the pony just dies then i couldnt start her back up. i just heard my fuel pump just running i tried to start it and all i got was it sounded like i wasnt getting fuel after five minutes i got it started but i wanna know what this is

The ignition modual(that is what I call it, also what it is called at the parts store) is mounted on the dizzy and will do what you discribe..a bad coil will also do that too, but seeing that you have a MSD, I would guess the modual.

i also found in a few cases the power wire going to this module would become open when it got hot and do the same thing. that was only like twice though, its usually just the tfi module or ignition module. and like mattdel said, a coil sometimes.
