cam idle?

Default cam idle?

somewhere i thought i saw that when you instal an E cam or whatever the idle is raised upon first starting it up? am i totally wrong here or what? thanks!

I think that's a function of the engine's computer system...not the cam. The motor should idle higher at startup regardless of what cam is in there...unless the cam is just too big. Someone school me if I'm wrong.

the cam alone isn't going to raise your idle speed..if any thing you may have to adjust your t/b idle screw up a tad

I think you are right on that.

I also think that it idles higher (rough) until the engine warms up.
