91-92 notchback, larger wheel wells, airbags, maf, 140mph speedo, etc.

it all depends on what you want fuel injection or carbed...lightest stock 4bbl carb is 83 84 and 85. 83 and 84 have flat tappet cams and 85 has roller 85 is the year to go they are fast and light i have an 84 weighs about 2500lbs

later year 89s have a 140 mph speedo
no air bag(smaller steering wheel, and it tilts)
has MAF

i love my 89... heavy car but it is sweet

There's nothing wrong with hypereutectic pistons. I would look for a 91-93 coupe.
