351W Roller cams. Hydraulic or flat-tappet?

Iam a newb when it comes to this. but im about to spend money and rebuild an entire 351W with most of 302 parts. For good experience.

I know i can use stock 5.0 roller lifters for the hydraulic roller. But it requires a "small-base-circle cam", or retrofit cam. I never heard such a thing. Is this type of cam rare or how much would it cost?
