yes, most people say that a 275 is the biggest. There was a guy on here with a white sn 5.0 with a 315 series tire on there but I don't remember his name. Any bigger and I think you'll be looking at tubbing the car.

From what I have heard if you've got stock 16" pony wheels anything over 245 is useless.

Mine has 255-40-17. And has the quad shocks. Rubs the fenders some (car is lowered). But I can probably fix that.

^im not sure how much your car is lowered, but i have seen 255's on stock ponys with it lowered an inch or so and it does just fine.

My brother had a 92 notch and he was running 305's in the rear. Not sure what size rim he had though.

stock pony or turbine wheels can hold a 275's, but they bulge a bit, 255 rears and 235 fronts look/ride great! Beyond 275 the inner fender needs rolling and backspacing may become an issue...
