first snow drive
the mustang was fully covered.. tires to the roof
my street is right near the fire dept making it the LAST to be plowed (so it was full of snow..)
lets just say the brand all season tires arent going to cut it....
coming home was a bit tricky. everything was melting and i gave it some gas around corner. rearend slides a little bit.. no biggy.. and then WHOOSH the whole car starts spinning.
people behind me come to complete stop before im even done.

RE: first snow drive
you must have horrible tires, my car wasnt even that bad with Nitto 555s... keep in mind i couldnt get up my driveway with those tires but still manged a few months of driving thru snow with them and never lost control.

RE: first snow drive
my tires are brand new yokohoma avid h4's
they arent designed for snow
and i highly doubt u got anywhere with Nitto 555's. any tire designed to dispurse water is going to SUCK in the winter. snow tread is just flat, rigid, and square so it packs the snow rather than tryng to push it and cause hydroplaning
