Default Gear drive installation

Anyone here done it? I have read you may or may not have to clearance the inside of the cover to make it fit. Mine is on order and the engine will be waiting for it (open and naked for installation) as soon as it arrives.

he wants to put a cam gear drive instead of a double timing chain.
on some blocks you might need some machining done but I havent done it, just what I read from various manufacturers.

Gear drive instead of a timing chain.

I have read you have to clearance the time cover a bit but thats it. Figured I would ask if anyone else here had already done it yet.
