Default a vibration

i just recently got 4:10 gears.( about a month) a minute ago me and my wife took a ride to get a christmas tree and while i was on the interstate i wanted to see how it would pull in fifth. around 95-100 (shh) i noticed that my shifter was vibrating so i slowed down. after that we were in target parking lot and i noticed that i had a vibration while cruising in first and second at around 1500-2000rpm coming for the rearend. i was wanting to know that if a out of balanced d/s would mess something up in my rearend that quick? my other question is does anyone know the length of a sn95 d/s? my buddy has one out of a 03 gt that he wrecked and was hoping that it would work. i know that its a long shot but i really don't want to spend the money for aluminun right before christmas.
