Default Best Clutch for the money

Hey guys,

I know that this has probably been posted before, but i cant find it in the search. Sorry. What's the best clutch for the money out there for the fox body? (with stock-300hp ponies)

My opinion would be the Ford Racing Performance Parts King Cobra clutch. Good for up to 500 HP I think. I have one on my car. Never had a problem with it, but I am not making as many HP's as you are. My brother-in-law has one on his Fox body, dont know what his HP rating is but he is cutting 12.5's in the quarter and he loves that clucth. Just my opnion though....

If you plan on doing upgrades as time goes on (ex. nitrous, supercharger) I think Centerforce is the best bang for the buck.

I think he means Stock to 300hp. As far as I know the highest rated Fox-Body was the Cobra and Cobra-R making something like 245hp.

could have been horse to the fly-wheel? but that would still be like between 250 and 270 whp
