275 sounds like a really big tire for the front

x2 id be happy with a 255 in the front and then a bigger 275 in the rear. i like that kinda look too.

the BFG's are the way to go in my opinion. sure there are better tires out there, but i have had a few of the modle tires and have loved them all. havent personally tried the KDW's buut havnt heard anything bad about them! hell Dodge even put that tire on their SRT-4 from the factory! cant be to bad right? lol

no kidding?? do you have a 9 inch up front? because i know you have a 10.5 in the rear with that wide 315 tire.

but do you think a fox body with a 9 inch wheel and 275 tire wouldnt rub or give any problems??

I have 245's on the front of mine on a 9in wheel, and they rub a lil, so a 275 would be out of the question. I don't understand why anyone would have that big of tire on the front, unless you are road racing or something, otherwise its just extra weight in my opinion.

Where did you say that? Anyways, when I said road racing I meant like real road racing, anything else is just pointless to have something that big. But, like you said Adder when you chose your tires, about price. A bigger size is going to cost more.

Do you consider Auto-X "real road racing" if not i guess i just like to drive thorugh coned courses at high rates of speed.

i went cheap on my tires because it was all i could afford at the time. BUT a nice set of Toyo RA1's are waiting for me in my basement!

AdderMK That's nice that you auto cross, but I'm just trying to help the person decide and justify cost to performance is all, not get into a net argument with you or anything[8D][sm=chairshot.gif]
