I'm a smoker too. I also used to roll blunts and joints while driving stick back in college. You get used to it. I eat cheeseburgers, talk on the phone...all kinds of stuff. It's really not very limiting.

Now that's what I call skill. I'll put a CD case on my lap and break up bud on that but it's still a little hard to keep if from spilling on the floor with an auto. I would imagine using your left leg to push in the clutch would knock it out of your lap.
