I have a 86 lx coupe and a 88 lx coupe can you swap the front ends on those hood, fenders and bumper from the 88 to the 86 or is that out of the question, any help appreciated
i have looked at my cousins 86 and it looks like with very minor modifications the swap can be done, they are both fox bodys, i have seen an 82 with a newer front end
Why not just leave you 88 an 88 and your 86 an 86???? Doesn't swapping the front ends just sound kind of pointless?
+1. leave it a 4-eye. if you like the 88 better then sell the 86 and put the money into the 88. if the 88 is a 4cyl then sell the 86 and buy a motor and do a motor swap... JMO though. and yes it is a very strong opinion. But hey, if you want to hack up the old 86 go for it, i figure the more people who F%ck up the 86 nose will make mine worth more and more every day.
