Default Has anyone convert efi over to carb and still pass emissions?

I live in Maryland and the do the sniffer test. The don't lift up your hood but they do go through the gears accelerating and then decelerating trying to mimic a driving situation. It only lasts for 1-2 minutes. I thought maybe I could use a little 50/50 mixture of 93 octane ans methanol, what do you think? Has anyone here ever done this or no of a better way? I'm sick of all these underhood wires and computer controled switches. My state the vehicle must be 25 years and older to get exempt of 20 years if they no long make the vehicle. I don't know anyway around getting an exemption. Old muscle car that would not have to worry about this in my state are worth gold. Any help or suggestios will be appreciated. I need a new engine and this emissions deal is holding me back from making my decission.

see sig below, have stock headers too if interested... you can so the swap in a couple hours, even less on a carb, and its only once a year to have them not break your chops....it'd be worth it to me...
