its a drivers race becaue the lt1 is not a motro to just roll ur eyes at, but then if u were in a fox it would be no prob u shoud have 2 lengths on him, but ur car is just as heavy and less power i would say drivers race and if u both suck or are both good then barely give it to the t/a [:@]
but hope he sucks and ur good
good luck

actually ur buddy is WAY off those cars are just as heavy as ur car which is like 34-3500 lbs so ur gears will be ur best help those cars are actually lighter than u think, my friend weighs somethin over 250 close to 300 and with him in his fbody the car wieghs like 3700 lbs but he is real heavy and sn95 wiehg almost 3500 lbs cause my friend has one and had 200lbs removed and weighed it at 3300 so ur gears are whats goin to help u most

well acually a 99-2000 -01 is around 3500-3600 so a cpl hundred lbs isnt that much...and a LT1 is a awsome motor...stock for stock id say he will win dependin on his mods...if a guy has gear and suspension work then hes not stock...a stock car is just that stock...the 2000 T/A is about 320 at fly..so id say around 300 at wheels since there a lil underrated ....i have seen T/As put down 307 at wheels bone stock....dont matter what he has or you..what matters is what ya are putin down on ground....

acutally my friend was in his 1999 firehawk, so i kno for a fact they dont weigh that much, but the lt1 puts about 245-250 stock down to the ground and with an exhasut and intake i would say upwards of 270-280 so be careful if u can get him off the line than u mite have him but just make sure that u dont spin too much and u should be ok
