how to get out door actuator?

So i just need to grab the actuator, and pull really hard? then the bracket will stay in there?

It looks like if i pull the actuator down, it will pop out. But, I can't get my hand in there well enough to push it down out of the bracket. How exactly did you guys get that thing out? I have a '91 by the way.
