Tips on Building up a Foxbody?

RE: Tips on Building up a Foxbody?
Haha, it was a joke Pony. Sorry if you took offense. (correct grammar is easier to read though [) I am thankful for your help though.
I don't have a car yet. It's winter, it snows here, and the 'rents won't even consider a RWD car. I would be unloading my CRV (KBB ~6000) and would have 6000 or so to spend for the car in 2-3 months. I'd be getting 90-92 one because last time I was in a car without airbags, I hit my head off of somthing (car accident) and needed 12 stitches. So I'm looking at the 90-92 hatchback since I like the looks better.
Chicogotgreen, thanks for the extremely informative post. I would definitely consider putting most of my income into this car. Probably about 80% of what I would earn (gotta save some of it) would go into this project.
I've been getting mixed opinions on whether to buy a modded car or not. I don't want to buy somebodies mess, but it is cheaper to buy that way. I'll probably go stock, or just simple things like CAI and exhaust. We'll see when I'm ready to buy.
Thanks again.

RE: Tips on Building up a Foxbody?
well I go with a 351W, They hold up very well and make more hp tha ta stroker if built right. get set or gears 3.73. or 4.10s and a get of drag radials for tires . For a trans Get a C-4 with a manual valve body in reverse pattern with a trans brake . Nitrous more more that a 100 shot since its gona be a DD too. A 3.5 - 4 inch cowl hood )needed since 351w has a higher deck height. then thiers littel stuff like MSD ignition , Guages nothing but Autometer , K&N Filter, Battery relocation kit . set for new rims (welds). new shifter. B&M or hurst Really it depends on where you spend most of your money

forget the c4, its a dd and most people dont want a 3 speed w/ no O/D for their dd
find a car w/ some bolt ons, maybe more, then do a nice h/c/i swap, then whatever is left over goes toward suspension

Say I went with that. I noticed somebody didn't like the Stroker engine. Why?
It has a "world class T-5 auburn rear" What's that? lol
