I get 17 city, and at least 25 on the highway, with 3.55 gears.

with my stock motor i got about 18 in the city with an auto but with my new motor and t-5 i get anywhere from 8 to 11mpg......but its just depends on how you drive
Im right next to this guy. If I get 150 miles from 12 gallons I'm a happy man

when i first got my car i drove it fast but kept the rpms resonalbly low, with the 5.0 you can pull off shifts in a manual at 1500 at not even bog the engine, back then i was getting 22-25 around town, and actually less on the highway


shifting around 1800-2500 these days is looking like 15

you can put hellacious gears in it for town driving, but highway not possible, low gears for highway

I get about 22 on the high way and 8 in town (heavy foot!). And my car has 275' on the back with 245 on the front. Thats alot of rubber on the ground. I drive an sn95 though (a lil more aerodynamic i think). I also have 18 inch bullits. BTW man, a mustang is a PERFORMANCE car. Gas mileage, smashmileage! haha jk
