Default 88 fenders on 93?

I know they're different but how? i was told it was a 91 fender and now a month after i bought it the kid says its an 88 and wont buy it back so i'm pissed. Is there a way to make it work or should i just knock him out and go buy a 91-93 fender?

they will bolt up. the only difference is that the 91-93 fenders have bigger wheel openings to clear the 16 inch rim/tire vs the 15 inch rim/tire from 90 and older.

Its an inch difference and the plastic inner fenders are different.
I bought fenders I was told were off a '92 but found out they were off an '88 and they were different. The guy I bought them off of gave me my money back after trying for two weeks to find me the right ones.

'91-'93 fenders are damn near impossible to find.

The fender tip measures 7.5 inches from the bumper to the edge of the wheel opening on a '91-'93 (fender extension on) and 8.5 inches on the '79-'90 fenders.

i was trying to fix my car with all ford parts but it isn't easy, becasue of this and the lack of original bumpers that are still in good shape i think i'll go with repo and in a few years replace it with originals

of course the accident happened while i'm going to school at wyotech, go figure
