Unless you're worried about an electromagnetic pulse weapon frying all the electronic circuits in the United States, you should go with a Mallory Unilite. Those duel point distributors need constant adjustment. But you might enjoy regapping your points all the time, I don't know.

haha, so i should look into a mallory UNILITE then? Still looking for the correct coil.



So This distributer...Unilite and One of them Voltage regulators, and I guess I can use the stock coil with it. And Thats all I need im guessing ignition wise to make it work with this setup? I really appreciate this help by tha way...

How about one that has the coil built into the cap? Here's a Mallory 7555101C for SB Ford.

with my swap i went with a points dizzy and carb intake to make things alot easier with less wiring, other than that it is pretty much a stand alone runs on it's own with no need for a computer
Points are usually much more complicated and less reliable than an electronic ignitor/pickup...

+1. points can be a hassle and need to be rebuilt and/or adjusted frequently.
