Cars used points dizzy's for years with no problems. The electronic ones are an improvement. But newer upgraded points dizzys should be able to hang with the electronic ones. Points dizzys are not more complicated from a technology stand point. Chips and circuitry are more complicated. But, you the user probably wont even mess with them. It is just a mystery box in the dizzy that wires go to, to some.

Thats is a really nice setup, I just dont want to Spend a TON of money on an ignition, becuase I would like to sell this car for more than I paid fixing it. I just want simple, effective, system. Another reason I dont want an MSD is dont you have to have the factory computer also? But I guess I would need a 6A system if I did get one.
