I just bought some Prostars w/ 28x11.50's 15x8 rims w/ 5.5 backspace on them and test fitted them. No issues. Plenty of room.

im guessing when he says 28x10 hes talking ET drags...wich have a section width of: 12.0' apposed to the 28x11.5 (just guessing your talking ET street) has a section width of: 10.7'

I know a guy running 28x10 ET drags on his notch and he deffinatly had to use a BFH

actually a 28 tall tire on a AUTO car with 4.10s would be good.

only for highway driving

are we talking about an aod ?

and why do you want the 28" ? cuz you have 4.10's ? you want a 26" tall tire and you'll be PERFECT going through the traps, right about 5300-5500

i can't see a 28 fitting in there, if you bagged the back on both sides probably, i was cutting the sidewall w/ 26 X 10.5's cuz it was hooking so hard and needed to bag the right side(old car). but i think my stock springs were weak, my current car is lowered and no probs w/ the 26 X 10.5 rad's

yes this is an auto car. also yes i did get the 28 inch tall tires because of the 4.10s. They are Nitto 555R Drag Radials. I see some people say BFH and some say they had to cut things out guess we will see once i get them mounted but thanks everyone for the help
