pretty sure S197's have hydraulic, i'm almost positive i read an article about it in 5.0 mag about 6 issues back

Man, I hope the new Mustangs come with a hole punch or something so people can add the necessary holes to their clutch hydraulics.

Maybe they can consult with their GM buddy's on where to poke the holes too.

then explain why the LT1 and LS1 guys have to drill holes in the hydrolic set ups so the clutch will release fast enough so shift???? my buddy has a LT1 and if you tryed to shift fast the clutch wouldn't disengage intime

The reason why Ford didn't use hydraulic clutches is most likely because it costs more.

A hydraulic clutches actually is faster and smoother than cable and most importantly requires less maintenence.

I have one in my STi and it's a much better system, not to mention a blessing when stuck in a traffic jam.

do they make kits to make 89' stangs hydraulic??? if anyone knows the 405 at 4pm, then youll know that it sucks beingin a cable clutch 5.0. i try to take my bike more, but i get tired and drive my car sometimes
