I have a friend who has a 99 explorer 5.0, and he says for 50 bucks he'll trade heads with me. My question is will my stock heads work in his explorer and will anything need to be done to them to adjust the compression ratio? I know the GT40p's wont work with all foxes because of headers, but ive herd they work with BBK unequal shorties so id figured if theyre interchangable ill give it a try and if they dont fit just put them back in the explorer and dont have to pay anything.

Yes, theyll work but I think he'll have exhaust manifold/steering rod issues.
