Is this smell normal without cats????
ever since i cut my cats out my exhaust is extremly strong, i mean im putting out some serious fumes, it dosent bother me at all i just wanted to make sure it was normal. no smoke its just really strong probaly can smell it on the road from at least several cars back. I think when i rev my engine gas might come out sometimes, not sure tho. MY engine still runs really strong though no power losses

Thats normal. Did you put some pipe in where the cats are? You don't want to breathe to much of that in, theres a lot of carbon monixide.

haha yea right i got carbon poison in my 83 gt the mufflers had no extensions so the fumes were commin in lol i had to go to the hospital lol but that was maybe like 6years ago but the smell it normal..........[:'(]

The smell is normal but fatal if inhaled for too long. The cats are like a filter. Without them the fumes will be stronger.
One reason why not to use dumps on the street. All those fumes build up under the car in stop and go driving. Not good.
